Project Hotel Key – Kearney, Nebraska
AmericInn
I already outlined many outstanding things about Kearney in an earlier post (complete with new haircut pictures) so I just wanted to wrap up my time here by telling you a bit about our hotel and the show tonight.
First off, Nebraska audiences are just as enthusiastic as Kansas audiences. This is the first time I’ve noted applause happening at the BEGINNING of songs in addition to the end. During “On The Road Again,” I was afraid we’d have to shush them up. I cannot remember a more energetic and giving audience. I loved it.
As far as the hotel goes, everything is amazing. They’ve got a pool, hot tub, and sauna (all of which I partook of). The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Not to mention the incredibly friendly staff. My only complaint, especially with four days here, is the lack of a fitness center. I feel like fitness centers should be required at all hotels. Hopefully, one day, they will be.
Thanks for an excellent few days, Nebraska!
Next stop: Ponca City, Oklahoma!
Yay! I’m glad you enjoyed Nebraska (it’s not too bad, if I do say so myself).
I wish I could see you when you’re in OK! Sadly, I will be California for Spring Break! Alas the day.
So glad several of the motels/hotels are really nice and that you are enjoying what they have to offer….I wish they did have places for you to work out as I know you feel the need……what a wonderful experience you are having….most of the time…..loads of love……muv
I enjoy this. Hotel key thing. keep it up!
Thanks, Noelle! I miss you!
You just wait until you come to GA – you’ll have quite the lively crowd! 🙂
Are you going to stay at home when you’re here? You ought to write about your hotel stay at home! HA.
I dig the photo of the door key btw
Unfortunately, I won’t be able to stay at home that night. Our stay is so brief.
